Coop und Migros haben in der ganzen Schweiz Weichkäse der Käserei Landbrügg aus Schüpfheim (LU) aus dem Verkauf genommen. Auslöser ist eine in der Käserei festgestellte Salmonellen-Kontamination in einem Kräuterbrie-Weichkäse. Weil nicht ausgeschlossen werden kann, dass weitere Erzeugnisse betroffen sind, ruft die Käserei ihr gesamtes Sortiment vorsorglich zurück. Coop spricht von insgesamt neun betroffenen Produkten, ein weiterer Bericht nennt zehn Sorten.

Der Rückruf umfasst mehrere Brie-Varianten, Humidor-Käse sowie Käseplatten, die zwischen dem 2. März und dem 2. April in Coop-Supermärkten und Coop City angeboten wurden. Ein Teil dieser Ware wurde schweizweit verkauft, andere Produkte nur in bestimmten Regionen. Migros hat nach eigenen Angaben drei Käsesorten derselben Käserei aus dem Verkauf genommen. Für alle betroffenen Produkte gilt der Rückruf über sämtliche Mindesthaltbarkeitsdaten hinweg.

Zu den von Coop und der Käserei genannten Produkten gehören unter anderem „Kräuterbrie“, „Pur Carré Laib“, „Pro Montagna Pur Bergbrie“ (ca. 150 g, FESA), „Baumann Bergbrie Pur nature“ (ca. 180 g), „Humidor Pur Crü PinoChio Laib“, „Humidor Pro Montagna Brie Pur nature Laib“, „Humidor Pur Crü Kolo Laib“, „Humidor Käseplatte Pur Crü FE“ (ca. 200 g), „Humidor Pur Crü Robin Laib“ (ca. 350 g) sowie „Baumann Pur Crü PinoChio“ (ca. 160 g). Die Käserei hat nach eigenen Angaben sämtliche Produkte aus dem Verkauf genommen und steht mit den zuständigen Behörden in Kontakt; die Ursachenabklärung läuft.

Salmonellen können Lebensmittelinfektionen auslösen, die häufig mit Durchfall, Bauchschmerzen, Fieber oder Erbrechen einhergehen. Die Symptome treten in der Regel innerhalb von 6 bis 72 Stunden nach dem Verzehr auf. Coop und Migros empfehlen Kundinnen und Kunden, die betroffenen Käseprodukte nicht zu konsumieren, sondern sie an die Verkaufsstellen zurückzubringen; der Kaufpreis wird erstattet.
